Following Mondays further easing of lockdown restrictions, we are pleased to confirm that we will be partially reopening internally. From Friday May 21st it will be possible to get drinks and bar snacks from the member’s bar.

Here is a Q&A for what the next few weeks will look like.

So, what is happening?

The members bar will be reopening for table service from Friday 21st May with the club preparing to serve up to 66 customers seated externally and 36 inside.

We ask that face coverings are worn on entry and exiting the club and moving to and from the toilets and that the social distancing, handwashing, and floor signs are observed along with instructions from our staff.

All tables will have an NHS Track & Trace QR code, and we ask that each person scans in please so that we can support the national effort.

When will we be open?

We will reopen on Friday 21st May 5pm – 10pm and thereafter as follows until further notice:

We may vary opening times depending on actual experience over the summer with the bar closing during quieter periods.

Who is welcome?

We look forward to welcoming back our members (and their guests). The club will be operating a first-come-first-served basis. Unfortunately, we will not be taking advanced bookings or providing off-sales. No table, no service.

Will cash be accepted?

No, as per previous reopening’s, payments will be taken via the card reader machines.

We are hiring!

The club is actively reviewing the days it is open and hours of opening. We are looking for bar staff / servers (previous experience helpful, but not essential) to join our team. Full training provided. This is a paid, not a voluntary role and will involve serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and, from time to time, food.

Is the club gym open?

The club gym (and changing rooms) are currently closed to anyone apart from Camelot approved personal trainers. This is for insurance purposes and to ensure we remain COVID-safe. The situation is under regular review.
