On Saturday 5th August 2023, a Canton XV team had a cracking run out for our first pre-season friendly against a touring team from the States on a rainswept pitch.

The game was played in great spirit with some great skills on display, but eventually the homers prevailed by running out 51pts to 19pts winners.

A cracking time in the clubhouse was had afterwards with Welsh, Americans and English all joining in the festivities.
