There will be teams from Aberdeen Grammar, Aberdeen Wanderers, Ellon, Garioch, Highland, Mackie, Montrose and Watsonians so it looks like a good day out (although they might not have all teams at all ages).
The playing fields address is: RGC Countesswells Sports Fields, 233 Countesswells Road, Aberdeen, AB15 8AR.
The timetable for the day will be as follows:
• Arrival From 9.00am
o It would be appreciated if you can arrive in good time to ensure we can split into team/have a warm up etc. around the coaches other jobs of the morning including registration/briefing etc.
• Play Commences 10.45am
• Medals Presentation As near to 1.30pm as possible
• Festival Conclusion Finish by 2pm
ARRIVAL & PARKING There is sufficient parking within the Countesswells facility for all players, coaches and spectators. Stewards will be on hand to direct all arrivals to an appropriate parking area. Please follow all stewards’ instructions. Please do not park on Countesswells Road itself – they are located in a residential area and do not wish to spoil their good relationship with the neighbours.
We’ll be provided with a small snack and water for each player in the morning, along with Meal Tokens for all players and coaches to claim a hot dog and drink from the refreshment counter in the Pavilion at close of play.
