Enfield are back in league action at home this evening as we host Ware FC (19:45 KO).
The E’s look to get back to winning ways after picking up one point from the last two games, with a loss at home to Aylesbury United last time out and a 1-1 draw at Flackwell Heath on Tuesday 23rd August.
On Saturday the club were pleased to see two 16 year olds Alfie and George Jessey make their step four league debuts and we look forward to seeing them continue to represent the club. Congratulations lads!
Alex Salmon’s men will be looking for their first victory over Ware since joining the Southern League in the 24/25 season with the last two fixtures between the sides ending in a 3-2 Ware win at Wodson Park and a draw at Hertingfordbury Park in the return fixture.
Supporter Information
Tickets are available on the day at the turnstiles, priced at £10 for adults, £5 for concessions, and £1 for U16s (cash and card accepted).
The club bar is open, serving drinks and snacks, as well as the hot food bar outside. Parking is available on site, though we encourage arriving early to secure a space.
Matchday programmes are also available for purchase at £3 per copy, and you can get involved in the club’s 50/50 raffle if you are feeling lucky.
The Visitors
The club was founded in 1892, and although first called Ware Town, soon changed its name to Ware FC.
The last match between the two sides was on 25th January this year at Hertingfordbury Park. Myles John put the E’s ahead in the 32nd minute before the visitors levelled it up late on through Gabriel Chapps.
Former Enfield Essex Senior League winning defender Jack Grosvenor has featured six times for Ware this season so could well be involved in the visitors lineup this evening.
Ware currently sit sixth in the league table with 12 points. Our visitors come into this game on the back of a 3-0 victory at home to Rayners Lane on Saturday, with goals from Townsend, Beckles-Richards, and Mayuma.
Enjoy the game this evening, come on you E’s!
