Dear Cricket Family
As you will be aware, due to Covid19, we are in very strange times. We hope that you and your families are all safe and well.
We were planning to commence summer training at the club from the 24th April. We have spent the winter in planning mode and had been very excited about the season ahead. We were looking to put more teams out and have entered girls in softball and hardball leagues from U9 through to U15.
However, based on Government and ECB advice, all cricket, training and matches, are currently suspended until a time it's safe for us to do so.
So with that in mind, we unfortunately have to postpone our training sessions until further notice.
Falkland Women and Girls Cricket has become an amazing community club. The girls seem to be really enjoying their cricket and their skills have really been coming along well. We all enjoy Friday nights at Falkland, watching the squads put their skills into practice.
So it is with sadness that we have to postpone, but it should only make us more eager to beat Covid19 and excited to get back out on the pitch.
So please stay safe, we’ll provide updates when we have them. Feel free to get in touch with us via email or our Facebook page if you have any questions.
We hope to see you and your families very soon.
With warm regards
The volunteers and coaches of Falkland Women and Girls Cricket
