Welcome to the 2021 Junior Season...!
Our emphasis at Finchley is on inclusion and fun and we offer every level of cricket for boys and girls of all ages and abilities!
We are really looking forward to welcoming you all to a brilliant 2021 season of junior cricket – full of fun, development and friendship – some light perhaps after the dark of a difficult winter. Like you all, we are watching how COVID19 guidelines and regulations develop in the coming weeks. We are planning, however, a full season of outdoor cricket activity – and set this out for you here.
We aim to begin our season the week after Easter, with our first evening sessions on Monday 5 April and Friday 9 April.
If we are able, we will invite you all to a registration and ‘back to cricket’ session on Saturday 3 April, 1000-1200.
Our evening practice sessions for boys and girls will be on Mondays and Fridays throughout the summer, starting Monday 5th April and Friday 9th April:
• Fridays – all age groups – under 9’s and below 1630-1730, under 11’s and above 1800-2000 – community night!
• Mondays – under 11- under 17 age group squads – 1800-2000
Please see below for more details on our coaching and camp offerings, with more news to follow soon.
The very best wishes to you all – and our commitment to provide you with the best possible junior cricket season we can. We so look forward to seeing you all just as soon as we possibly can!

At Finchley CC we have a hardworking and enthusiastic team of coaches, who run coaching programmes designed to cater for all ages and levels of ability and aspiration. With help from our partners, we offer an expanded programme of cricket activities and multi-sports, throughout the season and during school holidays.
The club’s coaching is led by ECB qualified coaches, with up-to-date safeguarding and first aid training. We have a growing number of helpers and volunteers who facilitate the coaching and are encouraged to join coach development courses, to further their skills and experience.
Our coaching programmes offer training to boys and girls of all abilities, starting from All Stars (ages 5-8), Dynamos (ages 9-11), as well as our own junior training pathway, from Under 10s through to Under 19s. These programmes are supplemented by additional camps, small training groups and multi-sport camps, provided in conjunction with our partners.

Holiday Cricket Camps
The club has a popular cricket camp programme, which runs across Easter, May half-term and the summer holidays. These are led by Finchley CC’s Simon Stevens, who operates the camps through Falcon Cricket Coaching, alongside an enthusiastic team of coaches and volunteers from the club. Our cricket camps are for boys and girls of all abilities, age 6-13. The camps are very popular and a great way for children to enjoy their time off school and play and practice more cricket! Keep an eye on our News page for cricket camp announcements, with more details to be found HERE over at Falcon Cricket Coaching. For any camp enquiries, please email email@example.com
Elite Cricket Programme
For those who aspire to push their cricket to the highest level possible, the club offers a programme of specialist elite camps and workshops, in conjunction with Revolution Coaching. These often run during the school holidays, with some additional masterclasses throughout the season. Group sizes are more limited, to maximise development and learning, with a focus on more specific and specialist skills, depending which areas players wish to focus on. Click HERE to visit the Revolution website. For more details, please contact Steve: firstname.lastname@example.org
Multi- Sport Camps
The club have teamed up with Rising Stars Activities, who run multi-sport/holiday activity camps for ages 5-12. These normally operate during the summer and Easter holidays and offer flexibility to children to choose the activities which they take part in. For more information, please click HERE for the Rising Stars Activities website. Alternatively, you can contact Eliot and his team: email@example.com
