Tour complete! Memories for the boys forever! A great tournament where we came up short in the plate competition having succumbed to injuries but the boys should be proud. Some even playing on with injuries to complete our fixtures, great resilience! A memorable win against Bath, a new friend who have invited us down to play them next season. We were placed against Bridgend in the first round, whose 14 year old boys ( who were twice the size of our biggest player) passed a ball with such finesse you’d be forgiven for thinking you were watching a pro side. Ignore the media , Welsh rugby is still vey much alive!

I’d definitely recommend where we stayed at Torquay PGL for anyone else that considers a tour in the coming years. The boys had activities, including zip wire , where a couple of boys beat their fears. When I asked my son what his highlight was his reply was “Spending the weekend with my mates” They stuck together the entire weekend and looked out for each other. We must be doing something right !
