Harrow U15s learnt lessons at Hertford in opening league game

Coach Chris Hayward saw real intent and effort from the boys, but Hertford proved too strong

Hertford 43 Harrow 17

Summary by Chris Hayward:

Harrow travelled to the depths of Hertfordshire for a much anticipated first league game in the U15’s Division 2.
The last two seasons results have meant two successive promotions in the leagues, which has been a great experience.
This summer, the squad has seen some players move on, some developing lads step up and also some getting used to new positions.

I'm pleased to say that those boys showed some real intent against Hertford. The score doesn’t reflect the effort the Harrow boys put in, in what was biblical weather. All 17 boys that made themselves available played with some serious passion and for that they all deserve a special mention.
If we play like that in our return fixture we will come out on top. Let’s stick at it and keep fighting. Onwards and upwards!

Harrow Tries:
Demi x2
Rhys x1
Conversions
Demi x1
