It has been 3 years since the Coaches and Team Managers of the Junior Section met to review and discuss how this part of the cub is run and where we believe we can improve. OK, so there's a been a pandemic in the meantime but we are getting back to the responsibility for everything that happens, not just getting players out training and playing matches.

Over 33 Coaches and Team Managers across the whole Junior Section from U7 to Colts met on Wednesday evening to start planning how we improve.

Our club is 100% reliant on our volunteers so it was also an opportunity to thank everyone for their fantastic efforts during this last season.

It was great to have such a god turnout on a Wednesday evening (out of season!) and to have such a good discussion with many ideas coming forward. Topics ranged from player recruitment to coaching development, and volunteer engagement to how we can get the most out of the new gym.

Key priorities to work on ahead of the next season were identified and many present stepped forward to develop the ideas and plans in readiness for the summer and the new season's start.

The club can be assured that the Junior Section is vibrant with ideas, commitment and energy so we can be sure that the plan will see a better and, hopefully, bigger Junior Section for 2022-23!
