About the team

New to rugby or already love running about? Either way, you will get a warm welcome at Harrow U6s. Our sessions are all about play: lots of games, movement, laughter and learning the basics together. No tackling, no pressure, just fun.

When we train: Sunday mornings, 10:00–11:15
Where: Harrow RFC, Harrow School Playing Fields. Turn up and say hello at the U6s pitch
Who can join: Children in Year 1

What families can expect

[]All play, all smiles: games that keep children moving and engaged

[]Age-appropriate and safe: no contact, just running, catching and dodging

[]Confidence-building: balance, coordination and teamwork through simple activities

[]Beginner-friendly: no experience needed, we guide them every step

[]Inclusive approach: we welcome children with SEND and work with families case-by-case to make sure it is right and safe

[]Supportive coaching team: qualified, family-led coaches who will always make time to welcome new players and answer questions

While the kids play, family and friends are welcome in our clubhouse (with café/kitchen). It is a great place to meet other parents and feel part of the club. Volunteering is also encouraged, whether that is helping at sessions, supporting as team admin, or lending a hand in the kitchen. There is always a role for you at Harrow RFC.

Try before you join

Come along for a couple of free taster sessions first. No pressure and no payment up front. If your child enjoys it (they usually do), we will guide you through how joining works.

What to bring

Trainers or boots (boots are best in the mud), comfy sports kit you do not mind getting wet and muddy, and a water bottle. That is it.

Ready to give it a go? Come down any Sunday or contact Coach John: jderbyshire1982@hotmail.com. We would love to meet you.
