Harrow faced a very strong Fullerians side, who mixed their A and B sides for this friendly.
Fullerians are always tough opponents and they proved to be a strong outfit on this occasion, but Harrow put in one of their best performances despite the defeat.
Harrow were resolute in defence and kept on-task despite seeing little of the ball in the first half. That they kept Fullerians down to two scores in the first period was a tribute to their organisation and tenacity.
Fullerians kept spreading the ball well in the second half, but Harrow's scrum found its form and so created more possession for the backs to put some pressure on. Indeed some such pressure resulted in a try for Harrow with Linal dropping on a loose ball when the opponents were trying to clear their lines, but Fullerians also went over for another two tries of their own.
So a win for Fullerians but a great performance from Harrow, a good platform to build on for the rest of the season.
