Straight from the restart the forwards piled on the pressure, time after time with Goetz, Carless, T-bone and Mole battering the stubborn Telephones defence.
On 33 mins a penalty to Oldfield saw the returning ex Club and 1st XV Captain Rob Payne, slot over a penalty for the 3 points, 8-0.
A frustrating first half came to an end with just the 8 points on the board, which didn't do the game justice for the amount of territory and pressure had by Oldfield.

On 45 mins the dominant back row of Green and Coleman saw Jamie Leich orchestrate a move to set up a try for Harry Smale and his Fury Friend to pop over the line for the 5 points, 13-0.

57 mins gone and with the game starting to open up and the Oldfield pack becoming ever more dominate, the Phones started to tire and from a couple of phases of ruck ball drawing players in, saw swift hands from Leich to Payne to Sam to Stafford coming in at speed to go over for the 5 points, 20-0.

With the light fading due to so many stoppages the Oldfield forwards superior fitness started to really take its toll on the Telephones and Reece Carless who had been causing havoc all afternoon finally got his just reward, on 70 mins clean ruck ball saw Leich pop to Carless who drove over the line with three players hanging off him for a great try, 27-0.

Straight from the restart the Oldfield backs ran back down deep into the oppositions territory, more forwards pressure was met by a never say die attitude by the Telephones.
From a mass of tired bodies Dan Goetz ripped the ball out like tearing tissue paper and there was only one place he was heading, swatting players off like flies running from at least 25 metres, a try for Oldfield, 34-0.
With the conversion unsuccessful the ref blew his whistle.
