HaHa... so lame but legend
How did you become interested in rugby league?

Always loved the game, watched it all time growing up, I come from a family of big rugby supporters. Both League and Union. But it will always be League for me, but what do you expect, I’m a Yorkshire man. HaHa

How did you first strat playing rugby league?

I’ve been playing rugby as long as I can remember, my auntie Helene used to take me with my cousins down to Batley Boys.

What was your first memory of rugby league amateur or professional?

Other than watching it on the TV and going to Batley Boys, probably going to watching Leeds Rhinos v Bradford Bulls in final

When was that?
I must have been about 10, feels like such a long time ago can’t remember exactly.

As a bulls fan, I’ll not ask you which of those two teams you would choose if you had to! We’ll just assume you are going to say Bradford Bulls or I might have to fall out with you!

What rugby league team did you support growing up, and is it the same one now?
I’ve never really supported any one team, they each have their own style and it’s a great game to watch so if rugby is on, I am going to be watching it! Helps to learn new plays, to see how the professionals are doing it. Hopefully it helps me with my game.

Can you remember your first ever game and who it was agains?

HaHa!! I can’t remember my last game, never mind my first!

Well I can remember you last and I'm sure you won...
Nearly scored a try didn't you, but got held up? HaHa

Alright no need to rub it in, yeah I remember that one. Don’t remember my first game though!

Who is your favourite player in rugby league and why?

Sam Burgess, he is just in a league of his own.

I completely agree, a legend and awesome to watch, but he’s not a rugby league player at the moment. No doubt he will be back after the Rugby Union World Cup.

Yeah, he is playing quite well in both disciplines, but I think his heart is in league.

At the start of this season how did you think Ossett would finish by the end of the summer?

I thought we would be in the top two to be honest, but loosing close games has cost us, I think we are currently in 5th? It's not what I expected, but it was silly mistakes. We need to work on sorting the mistakes out.

What are your personal goals for the next season?

As always, it’s to win the league and bring home some silverware for Ossett Tigers.

What is the best advise you have ever been given regarding your game?
Run at spaces not faces haha

Good advice! Now tell your Orry that!!

You are the man at Ossett that all the boys listen to and take on what you say, does that give you added pressure to play well and make no mistakes?

No not really I love to lead from the front!!

And you are doing a good job, keeping them all in line... so to speak!

What is you best achievement in the game?

Been so many achievements so far, being captain of Ossett Tigers, playing for Heavy Woolen. Hopefully my best is still to come. I have a trial match this Sunday (23rd August 2015) for Yorkshire County. Things are going well at the moment.

Who is the best coach and player ever played with?

The best coach I’d have to say was Richard Clayton, for starting me off in the game, at Batley Boys. Simon Hagger is a top coach, but I’ve not really trained last couple of month to benefit from him yet. And the best player has to be Sam Burgess, when I went to Dewsbury Moor from Batley Boys.

Thank you Jordan, for taking time out of your evening!
