3. Premier Bowling Trophy - Les Campton Trophy


The trophy which was originally awarded in 1953, is given to the leading bowler during the season in the Saturday 1st XI.

Les Campton is the most decorated winner, receiving the award on 9 occasions between 1956 and 1970, although there have been many multiple winners in the contemporary era as well. Rob Nicholls dominated around the turn of the century whilst Viz Parmar and Jim Shirley dominated the award between 2003 and 2011.

The double of Premier Batting and Premie Bowling has been completed on 8 occasions, Les Campton completed the feat 4 times (1960-62, 1964), Steve Reynolds in 1971, Roger Smith in 1979 and Ilam Khan in 2014.
