A very warm welcome to the junior section of the website. Whether you just want to have a bit of fun with your friends or have ambitions to play for your national team, we hope that you will find that Wanstead CC is the club for you.

As a junior at Wanstead, you will be given the opportunities to develop and achieve your cricketing ambitions through good coaching, training sessions, use of the nets, competitive and friendly matches and of course, most importantly, your own hard work.

We have almost 400 junior members from 5 to 18 years old and provide a friendly and safe environment. Our wellbeing policy outlines how seriously we take the safety of our juniors, while our members’ and family charter summarises the expectations that we have of our juniors (and their parents!).

After a successful 2025, we are looking forward to the new season with a full fixture list of competitions, friendlies and inter club matches.

Over the past three years, we have had a significant and successful focus on growing both the number of girls playing and quality of girls' cricket. We had almost 100 girls playing and look forward to future growth this year and particularly in the number of games and festivals for girls.
