The Club would like to announce that popular player Jordan Johnson has decided to switch to Trafford FC this summer.
The new proposed geographical set up, which will be ratified by the league, means travelling for North West based players is greatly increased next season, and much further than the teams we faced in the league last year.
Jon Eeles commented "Jordan spoke to me last night to informed me of the decision, and that he was gutted to leave Leek Town. The Club holds many special memories for him and he hoped to finish his career here. However, now he lives in St Helens, playing in the South-East league of the NPL was not something he could commit to. We wish Jordan all the best and hope he wont be a stranger to the Club in the future."
Jordan played for Leek 235 times and scored 92 goals over 4 spells -he made his debut in November 2004.
The Club would like to thank Jordan for his contribution and wish him all the best for the future.
