One of nine children, Eric was born in the small Hamlet of Ireland near Shefford in 1927 and spent the majority of his life as a postman in Bedfordshire.

A beloved husband of Barbara, Eric was also a devoted father to Peter, Suzanne and Robert, a cherished grandfather to Rachel, Christopher, Jack, Shauna and Amy, great-grandad to Sunny and Kit, and much loved father-in-law to Hilary, Lisa and Kevin.

A lifelong fan of The Eagles, Eric played a substantial part of the Bedford Town Supporter's Club for many years and will be sorely missed by many.

Supporters old and new are welcome to join in remembrance at Eric's funeral service at Bedford Crematorium on Wednesday 3rd April 2024, at 2.30pm.
