The Eagles travel to Norfolk for their first Emirates FA Cup tie of the season. Bedford Town face Mulbarton Wanderers at Mulberry Park in the Emirates FA Cup Preliminary round.

Last time out, Bedford beat Barton Rovers 2-0 earlier this week. Alex Collard and Louis Walsh got the goals for the Eagles in a comfortable win for Lee Bircham’s side.

Previously in the league, the Eagles thrashed Kidlington FC 5-1 at the Eyrie. Ryan Blake scored a double as well as Jack Green, Ben Spaul and Alex Collard getting goals.

Last season in the Emirates FA Cup, Bedford were knocked out by King’s Lynn Town after losing 0-3 at the Eyrie. In the original match, Bedford drew 1-1 at the Walks but the second game didn’t go so well for the Eagles.

Mulbarton have gotten off to a solid start to the season. After four league games, the Wanderers sit on six points from a possible twelve.

Last time out for Mulbarton, they beat Harleston Town 5-0 in a massive result for the team. A brace from Ashley Jarvis contributed to the win as well as goals from Owen Lane, Emmanuel Aaron MacHaya and James Page.

Mulbarton advanced to the Preliminary round of the Emirates FA Cup after beating Sheringham 2-1. Goals from Ashley Jarvis and Jamie Douglas Forshaw won the match for the Wanderers.
