Bedford Town host in-form Coalville Town at The Eyrie as the Eagles look to build on last week’s 1-3 win against Rushall Olympic.
Gary Setchell’s side recently beat Rushall Olympic 1-3 in a fantastic performance at Dales Lane. A double from Connor Tomlinson and a screamer from Dan Jarvis secured the win in style.
The Eagles will be hoping this is the start of a good run that catapults the team higher up the table. This will be difficult against a strong side like Coalville Town, but nevertheless the team have the ability to cause upsets.
Forward Connor Tomlinson has started to hit form and is looking unplayable at times. Fellow striker Afolabi Soyemi-Ololade has settled in very well and is looking dangerous.
Following the shock departure of striker Tyrone Lewthwaite, the team has adjusted well and is looking very capable without him. New striker Afolabi Soyemi-Ololade will fill the void left by Tyrone Lewthwaite as he aims to get his first Bedford Town goal.
Coalville Town have been in some cracking form lately and are fifth in the league on twenty points. Coalville Town are one of the title favourites for this season but will be in for a tough time against the Eagles.
The Ravens recently beat Notts County 2-3 in the Emirates FA Cup at Meadow Lane in what will go down as one of the biggest upsets in FA Cup history. A last-minute winner from Luke Shaw sent the Ravens into the First Round Proper where they will face Charlton Athletic at The Valley.
Coalville have been banging the goals in lately, they have recently beaten AFC Rushden & Diamonds 0-7 at Hayden Road. Tom McGlinchley and Tim Berridge both scored hat tricks as well as a goal from Luke Shaw.
They also drew 2-2 with Redditch United in their most recent league match. Despite going two goals down, The Ravens pulled it back despite going down to ten men.
Overall, It will be a brilliant match between two class side. If Bedford win, there will onlu be three points separating the sides. Just a reminder that parking is £1 and to park in the Bedford Town car park and not the Real Bedford car park.
