The Eagles host Redditch United at the Eyrie for yet another Southern League Premier Division performance from Bedford.
It’s been a tough time for Bedford recently as relegation looms. The Eagles have lots their last nine games and have failed to score in the last six. The last win came on Boxing Day in a 6-1 demolition over AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
The Eagles were most recently subject to a 0-2 defeat against Nuneaton Borough. Goals from Ricardo Dinanga and Ryan Beswick won the points for Borough despite a solid Bedford performance.
Upcoming for the Eagles are some big Easter fixtures. There are two games this weekend with one on Friday against Redditch and one on Monday against AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
Redditch have had a decent season as they sit in ninth place. Despite being near the play-offs, they probably won’t make the play-offs as the points gap is growing.
Up until Tuesday, they were on a bit of a run as they won three games on the bounce. They won against AFC Rushden & Diamonds, Basford United and Hitchin Town before losing against Stratford Town.
Last time against the Eagles, Redditch won 3-0 at home. This was in Paul Davis’ last game in charge as he was sacked shortly afterwards.
Try to make your way to the Eyrie for this massive game!
