The Eagles fly up the A6 to face AFC Rushden & Diamonds to try and stop the rot. Bedford were relegated last Saturday after St Ives Town beat Tamworth 2-0. The Eagles will be joining Diamonds and Hednesford Town who have both also been relegated.
Bedford suffered a tenth league defeat in a row last weekend as Redditch grabbed all three points at The Eyrie. Jack Byrne scored the decisive goal for United as they held out for a 0-1 win.
It has been a struggled for the Eagles lately as the club has fallen into a massive slump. Having lost ten games in a row and not scored in seven, it has been a miserable run.
Having been relegated now, it is time for the Eagles to rebuild and prepare for next season. There has been lots of changes this season and plenty more to come.
AFC Rushden & Diamonds have been on a great run since being relegated as they are on twenty-four points now, just six off the Eagles. They beat Basford United 2-0, drew 2-2 with Tamworth and beat Stourbridge 0-2 thanks to a Joel Anker double.
They are unbeaten in five games and are looking very good. Chris Nunn has done some excellent business bringing in some great players.
They will be looking to avenge the 6-1 loss last time as the Eagles thrashed Diamonds. Bedford are still without a win since this game.
Try to make your way to Hayden Road for this one!
