The Eagles are back in National League North action on Saturday when they'll be travelling to Oxford City. Bedford Town will looking to build on their fantastic victory last time out where they managed a 2-1 victory at Chester who before then had been unbeaten for a year at home. A first half header from Ryan Doherty and a second half strike from Tyrone Marsh was enough the see the Eagles extend their unbeaten league run to four matches. A fixture within that unbeaten run was the reverse fixture against Saturday's opponents where the Eagles were victorious over Oxford City thanks to a Tyrone Marsh goal. The Eagles currently sit in 15th place in the league, eight places and seven points above their next opponent. Unfortunately, there will be no Nathan Ashmore between the sticks for Bedford Town on Saturday as he has been recalled by Boreham Wood after some outstanding performances for the Eagles.
Oxford City are without a win in their last seven league games since a 5-0 victory at home to Alfreton Town in early September. Last time out they were denied victory by a controversial late equaliser at home to Leamington in a 1-1 draw.
