Woking vs Reading

Lots of early pressure from Reading required some good defensive work from Hannah,Izzy,Kate and Eloise. However 6 mins in and Claudia thrilled the crowd with some pirouetting turns to get the ball into the D which was tapped in by Katy.
Two Woking short corners followed, to no avail, despite a great shot on target that got stuck in the goalie's pad!! Play was dominated by Woking with some great passing. Sophie made some great interceptions with Hannah, Eloise and Elise linking up well and Gracie making a super run up the right wing. Unfortunately Reading equalised 2 mins before half time from a well struck short corner. 1-1 half time.
Woking came straight back into it and Claudia once again pirouetted the ball into the D for Katy to knock in. 2-1. Five mins later they were at it again. Eloise made a lovely stop, knocked the ball to Claudia who tapped it to Katy waiting goal-side to slot in! 3-1 Woking.
Reading then came to life and scored 2 goals from short corners at 11 and 16 mins into the second half. 3-3!
Cara and Lara worked well in midfield to try and break up play, but our defence where kept busy with a great save from Clappy. However Woking pushed high up the pitch and kept attacking with Emma making some great runs. Gracie had a shot on target saved, then a short corner was awarded to Woking. Cara injected and Claudia smacked it into the goal!!! 4-3 Woking!!!
Super game and well deserved win for the girls.
