Sheffield U16 Win Harrogate Festival

Following some last minute drop outs the Harrogate festival became a one game winner takes all match between Sheffield U16 and DMP U16 who were on a weekend tour.
Having never played DMP before they were going to be tough opposition as they are yet another County Finalist to add to the 5 already played this season.
Playing into to the wind and rain and up a slight hill Sheffield were happy to be 2 tries up just before half time, both scored with some excellent running from deep to break through the defence, DMP scored with the last play of the first half meaning it was 12-5 at half time.
In the second half playing with the weather and slope Sheffield really showed their ability throughout the squad with some fantastic rugby running in 6 tries without return some of which were amongst the best scored all season in what were very slippery conditions.
Overall a great finish to a very successful season, hanks to Harrogate for getting the game on and good luck to DMP in their final
