Reginald H Dack, or Benny as he was known to his friends and colleagues is dubbed as the Creator of Hall Green United. Following the disbanding of Hall Green Athletic in 1969, Benny, with some local players who had formed part of Hall Green Athletic's Reserve side, created Hall Green United.
Benny became the Secreatry of the club and held the post for 5 seasons. People who are part of Hall Green United today owe alot of thanks to Benny, without him in the clubs early years there may not have been what we currently enjoy in the here and now.
His son Phillip (also known as Benny) played for the club, making 521 first team appearances, while his grandson Gary Dack currently plys his trade with us too.
Unfotunately in 2007, after short illness the legendry Reginald H Dack passed away.
